Were seeking a Multi-Skilled Joiner to deliver exceptional repairs and maintenance services across multiple trade disciplines for properties owned or managed by Broadacres. Your work will directly impact the lives of our customers, helping us provide homes of the highest standards and delivering a first-class repairs experience.
What Were Looking For:
Experience:
oAt least 5 years experience in the housing repair/maintenance sector.
oProven ability to work effectively with the public.
o(Desirable) Experience working in a Social Housing or Local Authority environment.
o(Desirable) Experience within responsive property repairs.
Skills:
oThe successful candidate will be highly skilled in fault finding and repairs with Glazing and UPVC windows and doors.
oBe competent in the usage of mobile handheld devices enabling accurate data to be captured that facilitate continuous improvements of the repairs service.
oStrong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, and provide an excellent customer service, and ease of working with external contacts.
oAble to organise and prioritise a varied workload to meet deadlines.
oSelf-motivated with energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence.
oCompetent in diagnosing maintenance problems and identifying solutions.
oAble to follow and interpret work instructions, technical drawings, and plans accurately.
o(Desirable) Knowledge of Schedule of Rates systems.
Knowledge:
oIn-depth understanding of the skills, technology, and safety procedures required for maintenance tasks.
oKnowledge of construction methods and best practices.
Special Requirements:
oWilling and able to work outside normal hours when required.
oUnderstanding of and commitment to Diversity, Equality, and tenant participation.
oHold a full UK driving licence.
Qualifications:
oRelevant City & Guilds Basic Craft Certificate.
oCompletion of a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent, and/or minimum NVQ Level 3.
o(Desirable) Relevant City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate.

Repairs and Maintenance: Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks across multiple trades, ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Customer Service: Deliver an outstanding experience for our customers by maintaining professionalism and quality in every repair.
Problem-Solving: Diagnose maintenance issues, identify solutions, and implement effective repairs.
Team Collaboration: Work as part of a dynamic team to meet targets and deliver an exceptional housing service.
